S.L.J Logging

I think logging should not be aloud for that the native trees that are only found in nz  are becoming endangered, logging should only happen in non-native forests besauce we need trees to build houses and create useful items.

Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Blink and You'll Miss It', and for giving us your opinion on whether or not you think that logging should be allowed in New Zealand. I'm pleased to hear that you'd like to preserve the native trees— they are incredibly important, however Forestry NZ don't just cut down native trees, they cut down pine trees, too. Therefore logging does happen in 'non-native' forests. I have a questions for you, too, we export most of our wood overseas— who do you think we export to the most?

I look forward to reading your response!

    Cheers,

    Jordan
