  1. Good morning Emma,

Well done for completing this Summer Learning Journey activity, 'The Seven Sisters' and for retelling this story, 'The Seven Stars of Matariki'. How did you find this activity, Emma?
You've done a wonderful job of retelling this piece, I particularly like how you've mentioned the 8 brothers, including the youngest, Mitai. I like how you've managed to combine the mention of all 7 sisters by using 'wahine' - ka pai e hoa :)
You've followed the plot very well, with the brothers falling immediately in love with the wahine, all except for Mitai. He had a right to be suspicious too, didn't he? It sounds as though the wahine were quite tricky so it was a good thing that Mitai decided to watch the wives.
What do you think this story is trying to teach us, Emma?

I look forward to your response!

    Thanks,

    Jordan
