Facts about:

Condor

Andean condor has a larger wingspan ranging from 275 to 310 cm and average weight for a male is 11 to 15 kg while females weigh 7.5 to 11 kg.

They inhabit the forests, rocky shrubland and oak savannas of California, Arizona, Utah and Baja California, Mexico.

They prefer the carcasses of large dead animals like deer, cattle, and sheep. However, they are also known to eat the carcasses of smaller animals like rodents and rabbits.

    Well done for putting this DLO together for us, for the Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Wind Beneath My Wings'. I understand how difficult it is to put pictures and writing together on 'blogger'— this is a matter of settings. But, don't worry, because I have a solution for you! Do you know how to use 'Google Slides'? Google Slides help to compress images and text on blogger and it means that you can add all of these awesome pictures and your awesome writing together without it falling off the side.

    Also, I can see that the text you've selected has been taken from the internet. Emma, we need to make sure that we use our own words, and this is really important because it shows our readers that we've thought about the question, interpreted the information our own way, and learnt about the subject at hand.
    Unfortunately I won't be able to give you any points for this activity until you have edited the writing, and had a go at writing a response to this activity.

    I'll keep an eye on this post :)
