Making pikelets

We made pikelets today in class as an assignment , it was so much fun. 

My nonsense creature

My nonsense creature

My nonsense creature’s name is fireis, their species are called a fire lynx

My nonsense creature’s name is this because  they live around volcanoes and it’s ears are red like fire.

My nonsense creature’s can survive the volcanic eruptions because the day before an eruption there big fluffy ears start to twitch and that’s when they sense that it’s about to happen so they start digging under the earth really deep then they cover up their hole.

They eat insects & types of rocks.

My creature is made out of cardboard , feathers, fabric & sellotape.

Planet thetis

Hi i’m Theo short for Theophilus, Hi I’m Dirl, short for Dirlene we are best friends but everyone calls us twins we do admit that we look quite alike in various ways so don’t get us mixed up or  Dirl will get grumpy. We live on planet Thetis. It is a hidden planet, isolated in the middle of a lonely galaxy, far far far away from any other planet. Until one day, we were hanging round our favourite place (the zoo) when suddenly one half of the planet lit up in flames ”Ahhh!” screamed the girls. The fire killed everyone on that half instantly. We were shocked. The flames were drawing nearer. We got onto a aphilo, which is a Thetis horse. We rode to the nearest star ship and without thinking, brung the aphilos onboard. Then we took off. Soon after that the planet explode sending the ship further into space. They both screamed and cried and sobbed and wailed over the losses of their family and friends.

This is my writing we have written more but I decided to leave it to this much all the exiting things are later on , so the story right now seems boring .

My story is called planet thetis it's about to alein's (Dirl and Theo) going on a journey to earth and learning how to live even though they have very harsh conditions.

“ Ehe Ehe” said the girl she shook her head and it was still through the gates.

“This must be opened by Waiti” Waiti stepped forward
“ How do we know this isn’t just a trick” Exclaimed Ururangi pushing past her sister.

Thursday June 20

“Because Aroha Told me to give this to you if you don’t believe me open the letter” The girl said,

Tupu-a-nuku Said “well I suppose we should help her head unstuck” and that’s just
what they did she couldn’t come in the gates but she could stand outside. 

“Ok Let’s have the letter then” said Waiti holding out her hand, the girl
grinned and past it over This is what the letter said.

Dear Whanau 

As you know I am in hospital so I can’t send this letter myself,

Maia is here to give you the letter she is your Hehita and she must join you

With everything you go through I want you to be with her through everything even if you
don’t want to and she is your Hehita I know I have never told you but she is and her mother
died before I Met Your Mother,
